January - traditionally a quiet month for most businesses. But not a time to relax...tempting though it may be.
With some of the pressure off, then, now is the time to take stock of your web presence and plan ahead for the coming year.
For the last thing you want today is static content. It has to be interactive and refreshed on a regular basis to maintain interest and an ongoing relationship with the user.
Make sure everything is up to date and that there are no glitches caused by the changing of the calendar. Is 2012, for instance, available as a choice in drop down menus? And is the copyright tag updated too for 2012?
Users want to see a site that is updated regularly and well maintained. If it is not, they will simply jog on elsewhere on the net instead.

December was a hectic month, was it not? Everything having to be finished off before the close down for the festive season.
Now we are back, in a new year, and with new challenges ahead. Traditionally, though, January tends to be a quiet month with everyone going into hibernation, so what better time to think about freshening up your web presence?
